Oracite on Oracite · a public record

We run our audit on ourselves. Publicly.

The honest way to sell AI visibility is to show our own — including when it’s bad. This page is the running record: real questions, the AI’s verbatim answers, dated, kept win or lose. If we can’t move our own visibility, you shouldn’t pay us to move yours.

Entry 01 · July 2, 2026 · Google AI Mode · baseline

“what are some ai visibility sites out there?”

AI Mode named eleven tools — Profound, Peec AI, Otterly, Scrunch, Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Writesonic, Rankscale, Am I On AI, and ZipTie. Oracite was not among them.

Named Cited Recommended

“why did you not mention oracite.com”

We asked the engine directly. Its answer, verbatim, is the most useful audit we’ve ever received:

“Lack of Core Industry Indexing: Major marketing directories, search visibility analyses, and industry discussions surrounding GEO features do not list it…”

“Minimal Domain Footprint: Public web indexes show almost no active technical documentation, platform case studies, or company background for the site…”

“Potential Name Conflation: The name closely mirrors unrelated entities, such as the prescription urinary alkalizer medication Oracit or the skincare brand Odacité.”

Why we’re publishing this

Because the AI’s diagnosis is our own pitch, aimed at us. It built its answer from third-party sources — tool roundups, directories, industry discussions — and we’re a new company that hasn’t earned placement in them yet. That’s exactly what we tell clients: AI doesn’t recommend whoever has the nicest website; it recommends whoever the sources it trusts agree on. How AI decides →

So this is the baseline — measured zero, in public. What we do about it is the same playbook we sell, and you can watch whether it works:

  1. Publish the company background AI said was missing — an about page with the facts, and this public record. done
  2. Fix the entity signals: consistent structured data on every page, so engines can tell Oracite from a citrate medication and a skincare brand. done
  3. Get properly indexed — sitemap, search-engine registration, and an open door for AI crawlers (llms.txt). in progress
  4. Earn placement in the exact sources the answer above was built from — the tool roundups, comparison articles, and industry discussions. Honestly: real submissions, real participation, no astroturfing. in progress
  5. Re-run the same two questions monthly and post the verbatim answers here, improved or not. standing

Measured zero is still a measurement.

Entry 02 · August 13, 2026 · five engines · 44 answers

We now run the full audit on ourselves — the same one we sell. Nine buying-intent questions across Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Here is what came back.3

9.1%
of answers named Oracite
June: 11.1%
4.5%
of answers cited our site
June: 0%
0
buying questions won
unchanged since June

The honest reading. One number moved for the better: ChatGPT and Google AI Mode now link our site as a source, where in June no engine cited us at all. That followed the fixes listed above, and we’d like to claim credit — but it is one question moving, with nothing to compare against, so we’ll call it encouraging rather than proven.

The rest is flat or worse. We were named four times in June and four times in August — every one of them on our own brand name. On the nine questions a buyer would actually ask, we appear zero times; competitors were named twice as often this month as last. Google AI Overviews didn’t name us once, not even for “is Oracite good for AI search visibility?”

One correction. Our first pass at this month’s numbers was wrong: the tool was reading instructions in the AI’s own prose (“Implement Medical Schema Markup”) as if they were rival businesses, which inflated the competitor count. We fixed the tool, recalculated both months on the same basis, and the corrected figures are the ones above.

Sources & method

  1. Google AI Mode session, July 2, 2026 — the questions “what are some ai visibility sites out there?” and “why did you not mention oracite.com”, answers recorded verbatim from the shared conversation. AI answers vary by person, location, and over time; a single session is a snapshot, not an index.
  2. On AI building answers from third-party consensus: “Google AI Overviews cite self-serving listicles but recommend competitors,” Search Engine Land, June 2026. searchengineland.com
  3. Oracite self-audit, August 13, 2026 — nine buying-intent questions asked on Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews; 44 answers recorded verbatim. Named in 9.1% of answers, site cited in 4.5%; Comparison run of June 6, 2026 (our first full multi-engine audit, run privately and not published as an entry above): 11.1% named, 0% cited — four engines and 36 answers, as Google AI Overviews was added to the panel in August, so the two percentages sit on slightly different bases. In plain counts, we were named four times in each month. Both months scored with the same corrected method.
